Named the city of magic and beauty, Turkish Yalova is characterized by an ideal combination of scenic landscapes and monuments. It dates back to the third millennium B.C. Yalova became an independent Turkish province in 1995, after it was administratively belonging to the city of Istanbul in 1930 AD, with an order from the founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The city of Yalova is located on the northwestern front of the foothills of the Samanli Mountains, along the eastern coast of the Marmara Sea. Yalova is also considered as a land and sea bridge between Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa, separated from Istanbul by the Gulf of Izmit, which is about 175 km, equivalent to about two and a half hours by bus or seventy minutes by express ferry.

Yalova Termal, the region of hot springs:
The Termal region is located 12 km from the center of Yalova , it is famous for its thermal spas and hot mineral water springs ranging between 55-65 degrees Celsius, which is known worldwide as a center for recovery from skin diseases, bone diseases and functional disorders.
It was also used by soldiers from various different empires over time for post-battles recovery.
The most famous of them are: the lead bath, al-Marsousa bath, Walda bath and the Armutlu baths.
